Privacy Policy

Your privacy

Dateyet, a DBA of Emunah and Company NY INC, built this app to help you plan kosher outings at any time of day. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

To show spots near you first, your browser asks a location lookup service (GeoJS) for your approximate area based on your internet address. We keep only the area name, such as Bergen County, on your device. We do not store your internet address. You can change the area anytime.

What we collect

When you create an account, we ask for your email, mobile number, gender, relationship status, home area, kosher preferences, activities, foods and budget. We use these to curate your plans.

If you add a shidduch profile, we store the details you enter so matchmakers in our network can suggest matches. You can export or delete your shidduch data anytime from your profile.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe gives us a token to manage your subscription.

Text messages

If you opt in, we may send you marketing and informational texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. You can turn texts off anytime from your profile.

How we use your data

We use your data to make your plans, improve our venue suggestions and run your membership. We do not sell your personal data.

Your choices

You can edit your details, export your data or delete your account anytime from your profile page.
